History of Line 5 Metrovalencia
Metrovalencia line 5 connects the port with the airport. The initial section was inaugurated on April 30, 2003, which goes from the Alameda station to the Ayora station. On April 2, 2007, the Marítim Station was put into operation, an intermodal station designed to link line 5 with line 8 of the tramway that reaches the port. Finally, on April 18, 2007, the 4.9 kilometer stretch that goes from the Mislata-Almassil station to the Manises Airport was opened.
