The Valencia Book Fair is ready to captivate reading lovers with its 59th edition, which will take place from April 25 to May 5, 2024 at the Viveros Gardens. With the participation of 80 exhibitors, this cultural event marks the meeting point between readers, authors and booksellers, promising to exceed the expectations of last year.

Programming and Schedules of the Valencia Book Fair 2024

The Fair will be open to the public in the Viveros Gardens according to the following schedule:

  • Working days (Monday to Friday): 11:00 - 14:00 and 17:00 - 20:30 hours.
  • Weekends and holidays: 11:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Admission is free, and all activities are free access until capacity is reached. Two new reading clubs stand out, one in Spanish and the other in Valencian, scheduled for April 25 and May 4, respectively.

Activities for Schoolchildren

The program to promote reading for schoolchildren will offer oral narrations, manga workshops, commented readings with authors, inclusive activities on Braille language and sign language, as well as games, an illustration workshop and musical shows. These activities will take place from April 26 to May 3 in the morning.

News and Surprises

This year's poster, designed by Ana Penyas, highlights relevant anniversaries such as that of Julio Cortázar and Mafalda. In addition, the fair will have an international guest city, whose identity is still kept secret.
