Steps to obtain the free recurring subscription 2024
- Pre-registration
First you must create an account at Renfe.com or in the Renfe and Renfe Cercanías applications. Once you have your account, purchase the pass at the usual purchase points, such as the Renfe Cercanías App, self-sale machines and station ticket offices.
- Deposit and Payment Method
Although the subscription is free, a deposit of 10 euros is required to purchase it. This deposit will be automatically returned to your card at the end of the 4 months of validity, provided you have made a minimum of 16 trips.
- Preservation of Documents
Keep the QR (if you purchased through the Renfe Cercanías App) and the contactless card used with your subscription. Save any tickets or proof of purchase, as they may be necessary to request a refund of the deposit or to resolve any incident that may arise during the process.
